My old 172 had finance on it which was cleared when I bought it, 11 months later on it was still showing in the hpi. The garage I px/ed it never hpi'd before i'd changed for the 225 so that must've made them gulp when they did, even though it was clear it never got removed.
Well surely water will enter and run down the pipe and also the alternator rain guard has obviously been removed so the alternator is open to water now.
Ignore that its the right section unless i'm imagining ICE in the title? You'll probably have to drill a hole for 0 gauge as the bonnet release grommet won't take that I don't think.
I've got some in the Megane, wasn't overly impressed with them running off the headunit, sound a lot better now they're amped, easily as good as the kappas I had in the 172.
They need to at least be ran off an aftermarket headunit with a decent amp in it imo and amped if possible.
A 182 box will fit fine, my old 172 had a 182 box in it with a bolted diff retainer as it was made in the crossover period had a 182 engine in it too obviously with the 172 fanimold and map.
The only limitation is you need one sans speedo drive if its a FF and one with if its a cup, tbh you...
If they don't fit the gasket right and tighten the bolts in the correct order and to the correct torque they'll leak like a sieve. The gasket thats on there now is ruined don't let them just bodge it with instant gasket, i'll go find the tightening sequence so you can give them that incase they...
It'll most likely want a new boot floor, won't be cheap. Get it to a bodyshop to find a price, and your mates car probably has hidden damage if its bent your boot floor enough to stop the boot shutting.
Theres only a subframe at the front in a clio. It'll take a knock to the front suspension...
