Straightfoward, you'll want a big torque wrench to do the back hub nuts up to 175nm though. You can wind the calipers back in with a screwdriver.

It should be staying on if theres a glow plug fault, although it could be a duff led in the clocks. Sounds like it anyway, with the cold starting problem i'd say the glow plugs are shot. Don't think they're too expensive to change (never had an oil burner).
Definetly a bearing of some type, couldn't say specifically which one. Would need the aux belt off really the check for play etc to find out most probably.
Don't hold your breath until it been sorted. I can believe it though as that plug that you tried to put the relay in is the alarm interface plug (ish) so you've probably killed something.
Think i'd be tempted to try and find another long block at the right price tbh, you could spend £x repairing it and more could be wrong. You don't know what the clowns done with it after this.
Or hope the other valves are fine but I can't see how when if one exhaust valve is bent the other one...
Four ashes renault (cliospares) will supply you a throttle body for about £50, its a striaght swap. My old 1.6 went through 3! (luckily all under warrenty) you have to keep them clean or problems will occur.
Aye looking very good indeed. Well on the way now, you'll have to give me a shout if you ever need a hand with anyway not too far away and I wouldn't mind a gander :).
Thats also what put me off, not knowing if/how the reading from the valver sender was the same as the range needed by an aftermarket gauge.
The F7P/R sumps are completely different to F4R as well afaik, the drain plug is at the back for a start but i'm not sure on the capacity differences...
They'll just get worse over time but they will eventually fail which isn't the best idea to let them get to that state.
You should be able to find some play in the knackered one(s) if you shake the wheel with it off the deck.
