Nope, the VVT engages at 1800rpm advancing the inlet cam timing by 16degrees and disengages at 6800rpm retarding it.

For a start the 5k kick has nothing to do with the VVT, its just the cam profile coming "on". And its probably just water in the exhaust.

I'd say that too, did it once with my old mans mondeo. Only 1 tooth out and didn't really run any different but it didn't half make a difference when we got it spot on again.

You sure you haven't got ABS? Does the light come on when you turn the ignition on (abs)? Otherwise the speedo sender is on the back of the gearbox at the top afaik. Could be a bad connection hence its intermittant.

If you raise the revs and its stops its the carbon canister (and most likely is).

You have to wait 60 seconds from locking the car/arming the alarm before the alarm goes active. Hence why its beeping at you. As for 3 beeps, search its been covered.

The JBL GT4 series is one of if not the best budget sub you can buy. I've got a GT4-12 and can't fault it, had it years.

The exhaust gets hot, hot metal expands. As it cools it contracts and the ticking you hear is the metal contracting.

Erm renault use 4300k, thats the most usable light. A few others do too, ford for one I think. 6000k is too blue for me.

Yeh but yours is a bit of a parts bin special seeing as it hasn't got the right clocks in it. But thats renault for you, for some reason they fitted the one-touch looms on for both sides on some.
