Its fiddly and awkward, thats my excuse and i'm standing by it :rasp:.
Would be 1000x easier without the fecking soundproofing around the back of the bay, and I now know you can access the hole in the bulkhead if you take the drivers side archliner out that would've helped a lot at the time.
I've got one, you can view all sensor data and view/clear any fault codes. Got it so I could read the fault codes on my 172 when the throttle body was playing up, works with a lot of other cars as well.
You can have more functions with certain makes than others, you can't really do anything...
Got the chance to buy a Ph1 172 airbox off superfastdan for a bit of DIY maxogen action, only trouble is its missing two of the clips that hold the two parts of the airbox together.
Is this going to be a major problem? Obviously don't want to be getting unfiltered air sucked into the engine.
Well 52 started sept 02 so it must not be standard on the priveldge, Jun 02 was when it became standard on the dynamique and I assumed it was the same.

Replaced it, new ones cost a bloody fortune. Got one secondhand from an 05 182 for £40, theres usually a few on ebay or someones got one for sale on here put a wanted post up.

I use Meths usally or any good alcohol based solvent. At the end of the day there the only thing that stops you its worth a few quid on a bottle or meths/white spirit.
The trouble with using anything else is that it could stay on the disc and contaminate the pad, meths will evapourate away very...
4.3k is about natural daylight which is what the FF 1*2 has. Most mercs and bmws etc have 6k which have a blue tint to them. 8k is pretty much blue and mostly unuseable imo, i'd got for 4.3k every time 6k is too blue for me.
Will still have to sort that detail out when the weathers gets better!, still waiting to do mine atm :dapprove:. Polisher seems to have revived itself so will be good to go when its dry :).
I've fitted some of the Pro-Kit springs to my Ph2 last friday, that combined with fitting 15s has made a night and day difference to the handling. Would fully recommend them.
