Getting some of those to go on these:
But what colour to got for? The wheels are gloss black, i'm thinking either red, yellow or white? But i'm not sure which, what do people think?
No, you don't. I've got renault docs that say the comp is good for 4 detonations before it needs to be replaced and that it can be reset, which seems strange when renault want you to cough up for new stuff...
Its quite possibly not avaliable as a part on its own, a lot of the small little plastic bits aren't. There only avaliable as a piece of a bigger part. Probably a new adjuster tbh.
Yes it was a serious question thank you. If the starter motor was jammed then rocking it in gear so it turns the flywheel will sometimes unjam it. If its in neutral it won't turn the engine, and yes if you tried to push the car in gear it would be very difficult and you won't get far but it...
Try another RCA first, although i'd imagine thats the problem. I've got shielded rcas and I don't have any problems with alt whine even though the feed back to my front components are running along with them unshielded.
I know running them down the same side of the car is "wrong" but I can't be...
iirc the differences between them are quite small, the 182 one will have a bolted diff retainer instead of the circlip. Would've thought the driveshafts would still fit though?
The fact that it only happens when the engine is running shows that its alt whine, you need to move the RCAs away from the power cable.
I've always ran mine down the same side and haven't had a problem but it depends how well the rca cables are shielded really.
