Fvck me! I payed the same money for my 1.6 with more mods with flux! Actually come to think of it I had 2ncb, shows the difference it makes though. Parents policy great idea yeh :dapprove:.
99% sure the fronts are the same lucas calipers. 259mm vented discs?
edit: Actually now i've said it I don't think they are. Doesn't the 5 use 230mm discs as standard?
And then you won't get any NCB and its fronting, not worth the hassle its a catch-22 mainly because of the lack of ncb buildup won't make it any cheaper in the future.
People have this great idea of going on their parents insurance but it just bites them in the ass later on. Theres no money...
Yeh all that and do all the belt idlers/tensioners too. Seeing as the engine has to come out and go back in i'd probably put a new clutch on it too. Might as well do it now than when you've got to take the car to pieces to get at it.
Obviously oil + filter too!
Theres no low brake pad warning light. Could be a variety of thing really, needs to be plugged in as edde says. Common thing is the brake pedal switch.
No, immobiliser will still work with the battery flat. Just you won't be able to use the central locking and the alarm will go off when you open the door manually. As soon as you put the key in the ignition and turn the immobisiler off the alarm will stop.
Couldn't agree more, anything else is too blue. Fitted some 6000k bulbs in my mates astra and I couldn't put up with the blueness. 4300k is as close to normal daylight as you can get.

Depends really, stainless ones vary could pick one up cheapish secondhand. A quikfit type non renault one could be had for around 100 notes but it'll only rot through again in a year or two.
Its rotted through as the standard exhaust is only made of mild steel, its simply a matter of when it goes not if.
Will need a new exhaust, cost will vary depending where you get it done and whether you go for a stainless replacement or a standard replacement.
