What size pipe are people using for their lower grill cold air feeds? Looks pretty tight down there and I don't think the 102mm stuff i've already got will fit.
I'd put that defector on as its the rain cover for the alternator, if you leave it off rain can go striaght through the grill and soak the alternator. Not brilliant.
Its too small to fit on the RS grill but you can fit it if you clip it in at the bottom and use cable ties to hold it on at the top.
9855R everytime had mine about 2 years now and its been faultless, never had a problem with it. Brilliant HU with so many options and settings, haven't replaced it because I can't find a headunit I want that has all the EQ and Crossover options of the 9855R.
Was going for an X001 but its got...
The Ph2 100% doesn't have a speedo sensor on the gearbox, if it was on the end of the gearbox then thats the reverse light switch.
Tbh i'm not sure how to progess on it really, theres an ABS sensor on each wheel and I can't 100% remember which one it uses. And if the ABS works then I can't see...
No the miliage won't go up, although you've got a Ph2 FF right? There isn't a speedo sensor as its done through the ABS.
Only the Ph1 and the 172 Cup have speedo sensors on the gearbox.
I just had mine a month ago and for 6.5k I got a mint 53 plate monaco blue 172 with 24k on it. Was a lucky find though compairing it with what else was on sale, and that was from a dealer too btw.
Not 100% tbh but the ECU is mounted on the back of the engine at the top you should be able to see a lot of wires running to it. Theres a cover on it which cuts into the loom.
Someone should be able to give a definitive answer.
