Pretty sure total fade will be if the fluid boils which will put gas into the brake hydraulics which is compressible which is why the pedal will go to the floor. Brakes will probably need bleeding after that.
Simple way to test the clutch is to stick it in 5th at 30mph and put you foot to the floor, if the revs rise and the speed doesn't then the clutch is slipping and will need changing. If it just builds speed then its ok.
I had first hand experience of this, unfortunately it wasn't that the...
I've had brake fade twice I can remember. Once braking from some speed after a 2 mile long straight with 3 fat gits in the car reletively hard. And another time after I'd just hammered them on about 5 roundabouts in rapid sucession, the final one with a rather downhill approach at some speed...
Did 18k in 10 months in the old 1.2, have done 6.5k in 6 months in this one. Trying not to do silly milage again, though i'm not running about the country on courses for work this time.
Looked at one of those but wasn't sure if its suitable for the 1.6 so didn't bother. They are the same engine pretty much bar the longer stroke but I didn't want to risk it.
Go to the web application, whack the address in and start browsing. Make sure its set to us the wlan as an access point otherwise it'll connect via 3g.
Yep 'tis true the resonator gets well heated by the engine which will obviously heat the air going through which is bad. What I did was get a k&n panel filter and replace the resonator with some venair cold air ducting which runs to the standard air pickup behind the passenger headlight.
May...
No it won't have esp. Being an extreme it probably doesn't have the temp sensor fitted, is there a black nipple sticking out of the bottom of the passenger wing mirror ? If not then the sensor isn't fitted so it won't display the temp, if there is then something is wrong somewhere.
Its good old renault labour costs at their finest. The lambda sensor just screws into the exhaust, wouldn't have thought it was that difficult a job to do yourself, f00k 90 notes.

I've bought those alloys and i'm going to pick them up on saturday, unfortunately the centre caps aren't included which is a pitty as they finish the wheel off nicely so i'm on the lookout for some.
Just wondering if anybody...
I'm currently trying halfrauds own brand which is apparently comma anyway, sounds better and less tappety on idle than it did on magnatec. Change is every 5k anyway so massive longitivity isn't important for me.
Will be using it again for sure at this point.
Demon tweeks should be able to sort out some performance discs without too much hassle.

Big selection there.
In the rear the world is your oyster as its pretty much just a hole.
In the front you've got about 2 1/2" worth of depth, the trouble is the diameter tapers down to about 4" at the back which causes problems with large diameter backed speakers unless you don't mind hacking the door cards a bit.
If your after proper hid xenon bulbs then the ones in mine are Osram Xenarc bulbs, just search for them on google. Found a place that sold then for about £60 a piece.
Its the price from the 2004 version of dialogys without vat, probably a bit more now. Bloody steep for a bit of plastic!, i'm missing one of the lower ones which cover the fogs but at £16 it can stay missing for me.
No because the stalk itself is the same, if just depends on whether the sensor is fitted and the uch is programmed for auto wipers.
I must have the only set of auto wipers that seem to work ok, I can get on with them well enough they do have their special moments but 9/10 there alright.
