Bit of thread revival but finally got some eagle f1 gsd3s fitted and oh my god, theres just so much more grip its not even funny. Brilliant tyres will definetly be buying them again without a doubt especially at £45 each fitted.
I had this earlier in the week, new wheels + tyres on saturday. Irrepairable nail in one on monday, had to chuck a tyre with about 40 miles on it. Bugger :(.
The 172 dash is different to the normal one in the ph1 I think, maybe a different colour and you get the silver surround around the middle vents. I think.
Well it was bound to happen wasn't it, new wheels and tyres saturday run over a nail in the work car park this morning, b*****d . Way too close to the sidewall to be repaired so great got to throw away a tyre with about 25 miles on it.
Thing is no place around here has any f1s in stock so...
Bit of a ph1/2 hybrid going on there. Looks like they've bought a ph1 and as the maxi kit is for the ph2 fitted the lights and grill etc.
Love the look of the Super 1600 car but not a massive fan of that tbh.
I've had the fitting kit thingy done under warrenty about a 2 months ago and so far its stopped all rattles but i'm not holding out for it to stop it for too long.
Don't tend to use it too much to try and stop it for as long as possible.
Looks like an effect to me, the smoke doesn't seem to rise right looks too slow. Could be wrong though considering how well edited that vid is it wouldn't surprise me if it were.
Black is such a rewarding colour to give a good ol polishing. After getting the new wheels yesterday I was spured on to give it a good clean, first coat of polish its seen in a while i'm ashamed to say.
Came up nicely I thought.
Reno monkeys .
Anyway just thought i'd share...

Just bought those wheels to replace my standard dynamique wheels and I was wondering how I should clean them.
Previously I just used autoglym wheel cleaner but seeing as these are powercoated I wanted to make sure what I should be using as...
Nice ps job there, definetly will look better slammed. Got some centre caps for them just need to respray them as their a bit tatty at the moment, they should finish it off nicely.
Not feeling the ZZ1s though tbh, will have to change them for eagle f1s in the near future. Good for liftoff...
Yep lowering is being done as soon as I can be arsed to sort it all out. Didn't want to go for anything bigger than 15s as I didn't want to make it any slower even though it probably would have made almost bugger all difference.
After what seems like an eternity trying to find some wheels that I liked to replace the ph3 dynamique wheels I had i've finally got these. And before anyone mentions it yes it is going to be lowered asap.
Black wheels are the best thing ever.
Mine never used to go over 40 and that was working it out by only getting 400 miles from a tank. The 1.6 i've got now drinks less juice than that thing did, was usually in the low 30s and I didn't used to rag it everywhere either thought I might as well have, the last few courtesy cars i've had...
If its got closer than it used to be then its probably a sign that the clutch is wearing but if it isn't slipping then don't worry about it yet.
They all seem to have stupidly high bite points, ever clio i've driven has been the same.
