Need a different loom and the UCH would need to be enabled to support one touch on both sides, not worth bothering with. Too much cost and hassle.
Aftermarket is the only option tbh.
Not sure in kW, i'm aware the 1.6 VVT engine in the megane produces 115bhp whereas the clio is down as 110bhp (which would be the old engine). Also torque is down as 148Nm too, this is all from parkers which i've found to not be 100% gospel.

Its still the K4M-744 engine, and it was never specifically sold as the 1.6 VVT. Be believe me it does have it, the haynes manual states it and i've got a phase shifter bolted to my inlet cam sprocket and I doubt its there for show.
I am assuming that in Nov 02 they started fitting the VVT...

Pretty sure the aux belt does want doing at 36k regardless, they seem to have a habit of breaking and taking the cam belt with them if there not changed.
R5GTT engines aren't unreliable if tuned and treated correctly, still it is an old engine mind. And a 172 conversion would probably be easier in the Mk2.
They certainly aren't hydraulic clutches, WAY to hard for a hydraulic. There a cable clutch which can't be manually adjusted as any adjustment is done by the self adjuster on the top of the clutch pedal and that doesn't really seem to do much imo.

The N70 will only show connected via usb (which is pc suite mode) as its the only connection type the N70 will allow. The N80 allows you to connect in either pc suite mode, memory stick mode, pictbridge or media mode. You don't need to worry with the N70 as it only supports pc suite mode.
Not really, do hear of the odd failure of either the bulb or ballast. Don't seem to be very common, the bulbs do have a service life though were they start to fade. Not sure exactly but its quite a while.

Got mine for £160 but they were a bit of a bargain. Should be around the £200-£300 mark maybe more.
They're worth it for 160 but I don't think i'd have payed any more, still should stand for a profit when I sell them when I sell the car.
Yeh I didn't fancy paying 300 notes for standard alloys as well but tbh its a fair price with tyres and all. I've got some sitting around but I may end up needing them again so I can't really sell them and there far from mint nick either.

Righto, have these wheels. There Oz SuperTs in 15"x7 @ ET37 so they are the right fitment as far as I know. But the tyres are trying to eat the rear arch liners ?
Now the suspension does settle lower than that but still they should never rub on standard suspension surely?, was about to drop it...
VVT engine was Nov 02 onwards so would be interesting to see whether its the VVT engine or not. Though mind you the bmc, cat and exhaust may free things up and release the kick. Much like the 1*2 owners who have lost the 5k kick through wrong diameter exhausts etc ?
Bit behind myself too, about half way throught FEAR and so far its been awesome. The spooky effects are awesome and slow-mo never gets boring, nailing someone with a shotgun at close range in slowmo is one of the best things in the game :D.

I can't feel anything remotely in mine, just seems to make its merry way up the rev band smooth as anything. Nothing like the other similar capacity 16v things i've driven anyway.
