Not sure about the ticking but you can get the renault oem headunits of ebay quite easily theres always a good few on.

Its usually a loose connection on the wires for the seat airbags, look under the seat and give the connector a wiggle, usually sorts it out.

Just to add to the pictures, display isn't brilliant but its better than nothing and its worth it to get the steering controls back.

Yep, bought it for £280 but had to buy a game as well. They were selling it with 5 games for £480 I think but they didn't have all the games in so I got it for £280 but had perfect dark for £50 aswell, which was fine by me because I needed some more games as I only had pgr3.

If it isn't the recent hu then caraudiodirect do an adapter for both the screen and the controls.

The yellow plug is the stalk adapter/screen connector but looking at the autoleads adapter thats the type that needs to be connected to the back of the actual display so the dash needs to come off. Not sure on the specifics though.
