Clios after circa November 2002 have the 1.6 16v VVT engine, previous to that they didn't.
The way to tell is the normal one is group 10 and the VVT is group 8 insurance, the VVT has a one mile an hour less top end and it gets one less mpg.

Off the top of my head you need to remove the A Pillar covers and there are screws in the screen vents, under the aluminuim dash trim and I think theres are few in other places its not that difficult (apparently). Can scan the pages of the haynes manual for this if you want.
I've put mine down to the cold weather because it gets plenty of long runs (up to 100miles of motorway) and it still gets gunk under the cap. I've only noticed it since its got colder though because it never did it in summer.
I get this to a degree but its not that thick and there isn't much of it and its only under the filler cap. According to serveral things i've read on the net and from a post here which I think edde posted but I can't find it, that basically they all do it and its just a quirk of the D7F engine...
I'm currently trying to find one of these, having a bit of a game though mostly because i'm a picky bugger and want one with climate control and cruise control and I haven't found one with both yet, might end up just settling with climate and calling it a day though because i'm getting bored of...

I don't know how the tomtom one works but I use that with tomtom and it works great, very simple to set up.
I'd find the price and part no. but i'm not at home. I would imagine there at least £50, you might be able to get one from a scrap yard, i've seen them cropping up on ebay but most of them seem to be the ones without front fogs but its worth having a look.
There is also a relay involved too I...
I managed to get one on new years eve for £280 from game, they just seem to be trickling through and they get a few every now and again. Never preordered just managed to get lucky really they just had a sign outside at 9am, apparently they were all gone by 9:15.
If write permissions are enabled in the server properties tab then my money would be on the actual NTFS permissions on the folder the ftp server is using but that shouldn't matter because you generally have the file permissions of the user that you logon as not the IUSR account, does the user...
I've been to 4 of my local stores today and I can't find anything thats on the list, went after the pda and there seem to be several on ebay so I would imagine to offers been running for a while and they've got shot of them all.
I'm assuming that this is a JVC KD-AVX1 ?
When I fitted my mates for him I just connected to parking brake wire to ground on the iso loom with the connector blocks that were in the box, it defeats the whole must have handbrake on to watch dvds thing and its also a damn sight easier to do that...
