Updates
Washed the r26 after spa. Brake dust was horrendous and down both sides of the car. Good dose of fallout remover sorted that.
I think its pissed down with rain every day since cleaning.
Fitted an autodimming interior mirror. This is a plug and play upgrade, well it should have been...
Basically your issues are due to worn diff bearings. If you replace the clip and washer, it will go again.
Renfort is drilled and tapped into the diff casing. It does away with the circlip.
Brakes not related as clutch is cable and not hydraulic.
As above try lubing the cable, cable might be worn etc. Its a common issue on them, mine used to creak when hot. I personally think it was something to do with the clutch pressure plate
Unfortunately most top mounts are poor. I fitted snr top mounts to my dci, and they are also finished on 20'000 miles.
Oem renault top mounts might be best option.
Use the correct settings for the head bolts you are using.
To chuck a spanner in the works, im sure most f4r use the same headbolts..if that is the case id use 250 settings.
I used arp head studs on mine as i got them for free. They go down in ft/lb with no angle tighten. Yank shite
Updates.

I think its going to be 660.
Updates

Purchased a new turbosmart compgate 40 which bolts straight on.
Just turbo to order now. Oil return fittings have been ordered so can...
No need to silicone all the way round, all you need is a line across main cap and oil pump cover plate as per workshop manual and torque the bolts in the correct pattern.
Ive used both genuine and non genuine sump gaskets and all work ok. Is the sump cracked as it can happen when refitting? Are...
Following on from the Spa trackday on the Friday, went to the Nurburgring on the Sat. Its only 1hr 20 or so from Spa, so no brainer for a sightseer.
Arrived mid morning. Weather had cleared up from and the sun was out. 1st stop complex.
Track was only open 2:30-4:30pm so had a bit of lunch...
Need clip to see what fauls are stored with electrical fault light on. Usually relates to fusebox area/corrosion on relays, white plug corrosion etc. Remove and refit relays if any further issues.
