...turned up this morning. :D (crappy iPhone pic)
It doesn't 'feel' as solid at the v1 keyboard - and that had a great rubberized coating on it. The display panel doesn't move either, whereas the original one you could adjust - a bit of a pain as the light from the Velux window just...
Right.
Not full blown meet or anything this - just a gathering of us lot from Bury and the surrounding area. It seems we are rivalling Warrington for the RS-per-head ratio now! ;)
As such - I was thinking of a night after work next week - maybe just for a quick drink and chat - put names to...
I slowed down this morning for a large pool of standing water - in order for the engine not to suck any in.
But it seems some has got into the exhaust now and there's a definite sloshing noise on braking. I've left it on a slope in the car park, with the car tilting backwards. But will this...
How do you view the next 200 records within SQL Server Management Studio? It seems MSoft has limited it to that in order to stop the firehose mode of earlier editions - which is fair enough.
But I'm a SQL novice and a little bit stuck - lol! :o

Just how good is it? :) Probably the best £2.99 I've spent in a LONG time. Even though I know jack about football, it's still really enjoyable.
Being a cnut in the press conferences - FTW! :)

I haven't looked into this much, if at all really. But when Virtualization is enabled within BIOS, does that place a performance overhead on the CPU itself?
Just enabled it on a PC here running Windows 7 Pro for the XP Compat mode. I 'think' my PC at home has Virtualization turned on, though I...
I installed Windows 7 this weekend and put Fallout 3 back on. I then logged onto the XBox Live portal to download the DLCs.
Both The Pitt and Broken Steel were there for me to download, but Operation Anchorage was being charged at 800 points. I've already bought and completed that one though...
Feck. I thought I'd got them all backed up. But installing Windows 7 afresh has clearly shown that I haven't. :(
Most are just a couple of hours I've lost (thank FCUK the Fallout 3 one is still there!) - but it looks like it will be back to the grindstone for some of them. Bollox. :(
Anyone...
Seems a little strange as to why MSoft has pulled the plug on Outlook Express? I know there are better email clients out there, but OE was a small, quite useful and inbuilt email client.
Oh well, looks like Thunderbird will be getting another try. ;)

Are the screen stats of 320x480 purely for video? I've tried to customise my wallpaper to that size and it's always bigger than the screen itself?
I took a photo with the iPhone camera, uploaded it to the PC and found that the captured size was 165x220. This is probably what the camera takes as...
After picking up the iPhone yesterday, I now have two Apple devices, along with the iPod Nano. I swiftly binned the Apple stickers that came in the box and used oven-gloves to do so - I'm not one for singed hands. ;)
Anyways, nearly a full 24-hours into ownership, I'm slowly coming around to...
The answer's probably looking right at me, but I can't see the wood for the trees at the moment! :) Here's the scenario:-
Head Office (HO) and depot across the road are connected via 1Gbps fibre
HO is the location of the NAS box with shared folders on it
Depot is where Lenovo laptop is...
Anyone? Went past me at the Bury junction with a bit of pace. ;) Caught up, but with two cars in front all the way to Haslingden neither of us could go quicker.

Thinking of getting the 8-piece poly bush kit from K-Tec when my car goes in for its 72k service. Are there any other bushes or joints I should look at replacing while these are being done? Track-rod ends, etc?
I would like to get the handling virginally new again. ;)
Cheers,
D.
I so love the modders of the PC community at times! :approve:
One of the German fans with the assistance of other GTL & Race'07 players has managed to combine the best of both - taking the cars from the earlier game and transplanting them for us to drive in Race'07.
Naturally this makes the...
Consoles are for pussies. Real players go for this shizzle....

Seriously. WTF? :S :clown:

After the PC effort of a few weeks ago, I thought I'd add some of this shizzle...
After a conversation with Martin off v6clio.net, I remembered he'd given us some of the Diamondbrite stuff, so today I gave it a try - once I'd found the bloody stuff, lol.
Anyways, I don't know if the...
Picked up HOMM5 Gold Edition from Play earlier this week. It's a rare find as the HOMM series has never really been mainstream. And while the core game itself is not common at all, the expansion packs were virtually impossible to pick up from the high street.
The exception to this was HOMM3...
Even with my phobia of the Lard Eater of the Clio Range - I have to admit that it looked mighty fine.
Went along Great Ancoats Street at around 2.45pm today.

Bought the Collectors Edition off Play for a mere £12 this week and installed it last night. It's all new to me, but I did spend a lot of time on UT2004, so the basics are there in my head!
Anyone else play it? If so, send me a Player Card in the game for 'Unzen' and I'll add you to the...
I'm sorely tempted to buy this, but like f**k am I paying that for it?! I appreciate the amount of work and programming gone into it, but £56 for a game is a little steep, imo...
Spent about three hours yesterday, giving the car a wash, clay and wipe-down with some intensive tar remover. As expected, the area just behind the front wheels was fairly 'rough' with deposits - not the easiest thing to see against black gold! ;) I also got a couple of larger washers on the...
