i think so :o
exhaust still blows - but the engine seems minto
just taken it for a drive, and foooooook me its quick!
no PAS, so the steering is really agricultural - making the drive interesting with the light foot controls and heavy steering, but when my pipes arrive that should be solved :)
gator arrived today... but it seems it's too small :dapprove:
will hopefully get it plumbed in when my hoses arrive... might see if i can start it up this evening
stripped it down
mmmmm gearbox :D
cylinder head on, cams in, timed up etc. etc..
my valver coolant temp sensor for the gauges...
and the t-piece so i can fit the oil pressure sender
waiting on a couple of hoses and a cv boot gator (always the minor things :()
all going...
:D
After fitting a 172 rack to the valver for neater pipes :o.
looks like the sport rack should fit the mk1 subframe and hubs and column - can someone confirm?
is that a mk2 rack?
I know some are electric (and rubbish :D) but are all the hydraulic clio racks the same? or do some...
if you're lucky, you can get an early ph1 172 with the fuel pressure regulator on it - if not, they're not expensive from renault. I'm using a mk1 rail with some brackets
I'm fairly sure the 172 rack fits (seen it on a french conversion) but I need to find one first (and fundage :dapprove)
I...
hopefully the 172 fan will work on mine, but i need it running first (and a fan come to think of it :()
means the pipework is easier if you use the 172 rad - though you will need adapters for the heater matrix
standard PAS will not fit with the 172 downpipe, so it needs to be a manual rack...
radiator fan?
steering?
aux set up?
battery tray if you're going to use the 172 box & mounts (do you have ABS?)
keeping the oil pressure gauges?
I think between us, we have most of the issues nicely sorted :)
what ecu have you got? (numbers?)
oh, and good luck! :D
aye, sucks :dapprove:
oh well, round 2! new bottom end ordered from ben_p
will hopefully be a case of putting the head on and gearbox and dropping it in! :D
hopefully my loom will do the job and i will have all my gauges working
