I've got a similar issue. My plan is to rip each interior panel out and line the card with foam tape ensuring all surfaces that make contact with the metal panel are covered. I also intend to add a couple of rolls of Brown Bread at the same time.
Not a fan of the CF bonnet as it is too stark a contrast IMO. But the Superleggs' look mint.
Another 'criticism', although I would say it was constructive would be to paint the trumpet black and add a very fine silver mesh to the end of the air feed to simulate a fog light as it looks a...
I'm going to refurb my Turinis myself I think. Apologies for the attrocious pictures, the digital camera is dead so have had to use my phone.
Now I know the kerbing isn't highly visible on these pictures but it is there.
Wheel 3 is the best, then 4, then 1 and 2 is the worst. The...
Not good for cat's this 10k boost type stuff. I personally would do an oil and filter change as they may well use a different grade of oil in Russia due to the temperature while whacking in some engine flush.
Maybe a shot of injector cleaner then run it on V-Power from then on.
Cheers Fred.
There's another one with a simailr piece of damage but much smaller. The material is still there, it's just pushed toward the centre of the rim.
Is he looking to open up here in the near future?
Evening mate,
A friend has just bought a set of Turinis which could do with some TLC as could mine. Could you get a quote for all eight to be refurbed in the original silver?
Do you also arrange delivery/return to from Leeds and tyre removal refitting?
Pictures of the new wheels attached...
Looks superb mate. I didn't realise they were different to phase 1 172's. What did it cost and does he have any more?
I love my 172 'box, it pulls from so much lower down.
I did this with my 172 about 12 months ago, it wouldn't come out of limp mode. In the end I removed each fuse individually and dried them which seemed to cure the problem.
Why not. I had a dabble with an old skool jobbie tonight. It was yellow with F+F style graphics and was badged as a WRX but was a five door. I thought old skool WRX's were three door only. Anyway, we pulled away from a set of lights with me behind, I was slowly creeping past until we got to...
Fantastic, I love features like that. I wonder if it will be able to recognise my spider scrawl. I want to be able to sync' it with my work laptop ideally. I got to get me one o' those now.
I had a similar experiance but only had very light marring. I put this down to the fact that certain areas were highly contaminated and required alot of work. As I was going to go over with the rotary afterwards, it didn't bother me.
Cheers Tom, good to hear that. It's more novety than anyhting but I do like my toys and I find the K800i to be too simple as I usually buy Nokia symbians'.
I've always wanted one of these and they are quite cheap these days. I'm bored of my K800i and the features may be useful for work.
Does anyone have any experiences?
Not sure on the cause. It could be down to low oil or water levels causing the head to warp slightly or rapid degradation of the gasket material.
I'd get a second opinion TBH. The engine is known for it's tecnical spec' but I didn't think they were unreliable.
It may well be a seized caliper guide. I had this issue which meant the disc was wearing unevenly. Not difficult to sort of you are handy with a spanner.

PM Giles. It will be the phase 1 interior though which is blue leather rather than balck/grey.
