Sanspeed Powerboost

This is where I show my ignorance ...

I am nearly able to drive my LHD 172 FF which lived in Russia and which drank cr@ppy Russian petrol for four years. It has done 16ooo miles and has recently had a full service including fuel system drain and clean by Renault Moscow.

I wonder whether I should get some sort of fuel system cleaner like Powerboost from Ecotek to give it a thorough clean out and decoke. I'd need to remove the air filter and inject the canof Powerboost straight into the carburettor or air intake.

Any thoughts?

Not good for cat's this 10k boost type stuff. I personally would do an oil and filter change as they may well use a different grade of oil in Russia due to the temperature while whacking in some engine flush.

Maybe a shot of injector cleaner then run it on V-Power from then on.
