Mine are caked in brake dust at the mo' but I love the colour against my Iceburg. I'll get a pic' up in a second.
Here you go, definately tempted to have mine done in a similar shade.
It was on about 6 months ago IIRC, I posted it originally. It had some strange Megane alloys on at the time I seem to recall.
I can't quite understand how the car is still Cat' B if it has been re-shelled unless they kept the original cars ID.
Strangely enough, the seller calls himslef Lucky...
I find that if you drop a push pop into the fuel tank after each fill up, the added sugar in the combustion chamber creates a richer mixture which has a very similar effect to that of an Ecotek valve.
Old question I know but i've searched and can't find much.
My dad's mate has leaking rear shocks on his 172. It is still under warranty but they have said they won't replace them. Am I correct in saying he simply needs to contact Renault UK and they will arrange with the dealer?
Any help...
A dolly would be far to aggresive for PDR. They are excellent on damaged panels but they require the opposite side of the panel to be beaten which can lead to a distortion of the panel.
Give various size spoons a go. My old boy managed to get three decent sized dents out of his Mazda 6 bonnet...

Why is that? I know very little about this subject so just curious.
Any figures mate so I can pass them onto the no doubt heavy handed gloit who will be checking the car. I've still yet to find anywhere in Leeds worth looking at.
Sorry to resurect this old chestnut. I've found the details of the 182 and phase 1 but not the phase 2 172.
What would be the optimum setup considering I have Apex -40's?
Ben
Excellent, cheers Dick.
As said, it's not worth the risk in the wet but it's good to hear they are good in the dry when I like to 'open her up a little'.
I don't shoe it in the dry so should be safe there. I just don't want anything dangerous as I've heard Yokos can catch you out.
So you'd go for T1-R's over PE2's then Rex?
I have a phase 2 172 which is currently on Apex -40's. My 2 front tyres are shot and the rears aren't far off either.
Which tyres are the best VFM. I drive enthusiastically so need a decent level of grip without any traumas in the wet.
I have been looking at Yoko' A539's, 195/45/16 with...
