Hmm.....just got the insurance renewal documents complete with stupid quote from Tesco and noticed that they only had me down as 2 years No Claims instead of 5 years. Phoned up expecting a fight and the guy just said "oh yeah, Ill get that changed for you" and then quoted me £757 for renewal, so...

I reckon 206 GTis with Pugs SP stuff on it look as good as that car ever will. Pity the car is such an awful drive.

Have you plugged both ECU cables in? When myself and Craggy were messing round with ECUs last weekend we couldnt get my car started and ended up setting off the alarm etc. before discovering that there were 2 cables that needed plugging in.... :oops:

Exactly the same airbox as on my old W reg 1.4 16v Clio. Never figured out what the point of it was....maybe it acts as a silencer or something? Rhys

The winner is..... CLIO16V_BOY! Disconnected battery for an hour or so, re-connected and it all started up again. Phew phew phew. Thanks for all the suggestions & help. Rhys

No, before I picked up the car it had a slight leak from the ariel, but its been sealed with silicone stuff. Its not rained all week either? One of the battery terminals has some reddish liquid on it though...?!

Trust me, I had a 1.2 8v and stopwatched it to 60 with 2 in the car. 17.8 time and time again! Piss poor car. The 1.0 12vs are faster to 60. The 1.2 8v only had 33bhp!!!

I had an 8v Corsa 1.2. 0-60 in 17.8 seconds, so he should have HAMMERED you... ;)
