Theres a £2000 turbo conversion for the Zetec-S from Van Aaken which takes it to 140bhp. Guess it would give a few people some trouble with that bolted on...
0-70 in the Willy. Not brilliant quality but you can get the idea....

Just timed it with a stop watch at 9.94 seconds three times in a row! Timed it from when the camera moved with the first movement of the car. Pretty damned good for a 1.4 (unless you were pointing down a big hill at the time ;))
Give it a try to 100mph if you can find a long and flat enough...
When I was looking for a Williams, I had my heart set on blue, but the only one I could find was blue. In the end I settled on the blue even though there are far too many Williams around in blue.
Blue is nice, though.....
:p
Ah yeah, forgot about the ABS. It does work very well actually. Although the braking power isnt quite up there with the 172, its not bad at all in the Willy.
I dont think Ive got any creasing in the sunroof, and theres definitely no leaking, but I could easily live without it. Probably adds a...
Really check that history out, especially if you are going to pay extra for one with supposedly low mileage.
The Willy 3 has an electric sunroof, windows and mirrors, but they are not exactly goody packed cars! Not a problem as its not really what you get a Willy for. If I were you Id try and...
I was being tailgated the other day by some mailto:tw@t">tw@t with the plate:
F1 CAR
So...was it a Ferrari? Nope......was it a McLaren F1? Erm....nope. VW Bora TDi !!!!!! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......snore!

Yup, in the boot nestling in the plastic bit with the tools. Whatever you do, make sure you dont lose it, as Reg Vardy Renault dont know what they are, even when you have three people from the parts department gathered round a car shouting at them !THIS BIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WHEEL...CAN YOU...
BRUN - its the Strines and if youre in Manchester, it isnt far from you. And yes, it is very good fun and sh*t scary too! There are three quality hairpins spread throughout the road and a good few straights. I dont drive it any more as it kills the car (a wee bit bumpy!)
Rhys.
PS: Whats...
Tommy - I wouldnt worry about the juvenile nature of some of the posters on here.....I think they keep having relapses where they think they are still in the school playground...... ;):p
Well, my Willy might be shiny after all that time I spend rubbing it, but my knob is starting to look a bit worn. Its probably because I grip it too tightly when Im driving.
Think Im starting to like Team Dynamic wheels. Craig adams_16vs gold multispoke Team Dynamic wheels also float my boat! Pity I cant really change the wheels on the Willy (it should be a hanging offence ;)).
Three hours of elbow grease on Saturday. Im amazed its not got covered in crap in the 2 days between as usual. I was getting sarcastic comments from passers by about the length of time Id spent rubbing my Willy.... :o:oops:
Leigh - yup, so the garage that I got it from told me...then again...
I had that exact problem....car always looked like it was crying! I think there was also a leak in the bottle as it seemed to empty really, really quickly (had to fill it almost every day).
I got that message when I accidentally double clicked on the "Post Reply" button. Might be to stop the same post being made twice in quick succession...?
I made one for the Poo06 GTi from an AX GT induction kit that I got for £15 in Halfords and some silver ducting stuff. Worked fine....car was still sh*t though!
