You can't replace one of those bad boys! Open her up and tell us whether you've got a brown/green slot or a black/blue slot for graphics (or none of the above) and I'll tell you what you want to get!
And there, is a perfect example of why you don't post your accidents and your insurance fronting on the internet! ^^
Back on topic, take the 17s off. The Clio's not big enough for them, it just looks crap.
Yep. Now I'm hauling 20 1650s sorry asses around trying to work out why on the new version of Citrix we're getting problems we didn't have on the old version!
Bugger. Bring on a broken desktop.
Personally I think it's a pretty good system. Ok, as a backup utility it's s**t but for what it's designed for - small to medium scale deployment - then it's fantastic. I've got a boot CD which loads all the drivers for my DVD-RW drive and all I do is set my computer up at home with the bare...
No, but if you've got that ability and honestly can spare the time (none of this 'But I've got loads to do') then I really, really would do it from scratch. I've hated upgrades from day one and believe that they don't work as well as a clean install, and I stand by that!
I noticed that with older pre-release versions, but haven't had time to f**k this laptop up yet. People say it's a lot better but I don't have drivers as I said.
Had some experience with that, and while yes it shifts the ugly stuff, the hoses discolor (all the white marks on my old volvo that were for people to cut the hoses down based on engine size had gone brown) and the degreaser didn't shift it - the WD did a great job of them though, but you must...
The only colours brakes should be on any car other than supercars are black or a dark grey/silver. Colours just look wrong and 9 times out of 10 are only highlighting that you have single piston shitty brakes!
I don't like the Philips ones - there are much better out there! The Philips ones look more like a gentle silver haze over the orange whereas the ones I picked up in Hellfords are proper mirror finish, much better!
There's your BSOD problem - driver incompatibilities. I haven't put Vista on anything yet as my laptop is the only machine I would be bothered to, but Sony are taking the piss regards putting drivers out.
In the past I've used WD40 to get the grime off, as it's a light oil based spray - and oil shifts oil better than anything else! And then given it a coat of Autoglym Bumper Shine or whatever it's called - although got some 303 Aerospace Protectant coming soon so will have a crack with that over...
Going to spray mine with silver Hammerite after wiping it down thoroughly with cleaner to make sure all the fuel/oil is off - as I like the silver finish but it's not particularly good for hard-wearing! Hopefully retain most of the finish but with a lot more durability - have to be a thin coat...
There's more to come yet!!! :)
Unfortunately with a set of Cup wheels to fund, a BTB exhaust and an ITG filter I'm out of money to spend on shine for another few weeks!
It's going in on the 5th of February for 'Diagnostics' under warranty - is it worth me prompting them that it seems like a common fault with the sensor? As I don't want to have to mess about any longer than needs be!
Re: OEM Licenses
But selling anything you need to charge VAT? If he sold it to Dick Whittington, he'd charge vat, if he sold it to Dick Whittington Incorporated, he'd charge vat - the difference is in that Dick Whittington Incorporated can claim it back.
Easy, see? STFU.
As for Spoonie, I...
