OK heres 2 cars - the silver one is a day old and has the original Renault springs (its Roamers). The red one is mine and has the Eibachs fitted.

Yep, agree with both of the above, the Eibachs give a nice subtle drop and deliver in the handling department. If you go any lower youll have problems if you want to fit 17"s too.
Not lowering the Beemer then Geoff?
Nice one Daz thats exactly what we needed http://www.warofthering.net/forums/vbulletin225/upload/images/smilies/thumbs.gif
Mat - are you going to send these figures to Jas for the website or shall we do it individually?
Mike, did you ever think of putting your car on a rolling road? That would confirm whether or not youre down on power. Also the engine takes a good while to loosen up as a rule, and it certainly repoonds well to a good thrashing now and again - mine always feels better after a trackday!
Mine made a tad over 159 ATW. Wasnt the best though - Wayne got 162 out of his Cup IIRC, and there were still more to go when we left. Really good morning out though - thanks a lot Mat! :D
Mine came with a spray. Id give em a ring if I were you (the numbers on the box) and see what they say. I called them when I got mine and they were very helpful.
Give the filter a good covering on the black side (not all-over). Not too much or the filter will become blocked. Half the bottle is too much, I would have thought more like a quarter.
Same thing happened to me the first time I jacked mine up. It just collapses a bit then doesnt seem to bend any further. Why Renault decided to put a hole there I cant imagine.
Yes, great numbers Jas! Interesting to look at the ratio of forum users to members too - I think that over a third of registered users are now members - dont remember ever seeing it that high before!
Bloody Hell Rhys that sounds like a nightmare mate - I have the same problem but only with my valve caps! Hope it gets sorted soon. Like you say, shame to let the car go just because of this.
He copied it into his own webspace and pasted it using his own link. Right click the image then properties. Its a good ruse for those sites that dont allow external references to images.
- Reth Clio cup - no! I meant that the Cup airbox is the same as a regular 172 airbox - its a totally different shape to a Megane item (I also have a Megane 1.6 16v).
- CUPSIZE? - no discernable effect on noise. Power gains are unknown, the car will be on the rollers on Saturday though so if I...
Same here - my Renault dealer couldnt care less about mods - by the time Renault come out with their own mods your warranty will have run out anyway!
In any case its a lot more fun experimenting with stuff yourself to find out what works best. Means you have a unique car rather than something...
