mines 100% standard, and will stay that way unless the brakes pish me off, other than that no urge to mod anything as it seems to be just right out of the box.
computer isnt that accurate lol.
claimed I had used 7.8 gals of fuel, I put in 7.2 gals. Meh cant expect the froggies to have calibrated it that well for imperial.
Average mpg was also out too compared to the miles vs gals filled. (out a nice way ie computer said 2mpg lower than reality)

imho yoko tyres are utter crap (aside from A021's, 32's and 48's), particularly in the wet :(
Hankook RS-2's would be the ideal mix of uber dry grip and good wet grip (along with great wear rates).
For better value you could goto Kumho KU31's which gets you most of the RS-2 stuff but for sod...
Well I picked it up yesterday, its a high miler but its got the history required (unlike many with even 1/4 of the miles) and it feels like a new car.

I've been looking for nasty 15's and cant find any on the bay for less than £100 :( seems steel wheels have become 'scene' and therefore sodding expensive BOOOO
I ran 97's on the road for a fair while... they were fantastic pads imho. Rather vicious once you got some heat into them too! From cold they were still better than the OEM pads available for the plastic skip lol
Only draw back is they muller your discs and flock your wheels with steel so in...
I thought I had gotten away from seized rear brakes when we got rid of the MK4 astra.. that loved to lock its cables up in the cold weather lol.
Hmm clio left in gear too me thinks.
for the £160 you will pay, you'd be able to shift them for that or more so its not really an issue in that respect.
17" and 15" track rubber is much much cheaper than 16/14" stuff :( :)
You might not be let on some trackdays with slicks... some dont mind but its the tracks discression.
plus as said, if its wet you are funked.
I'd look at something like the rs-2, R1R,Advan 008, Kumho V70's etc... yes they cost more but they are fine on track ime (spanked rs-2's round llandow...
as with everything its personal taste.... and franky I'm bored pooless with thin multispoke alloys (got TD 1.2's on my current car and I gave up cleaning them and they are wrecked now lol)
I'm nearly desperite, but looking on here mostly.... although its only really 172's about at the moment :(
Still, if it gives people a heads up on the ropey ones to not waste their time its all good.
