TBH i would think 175ish bhp if your lucky. The 1*2's tend not to put out their power anyway. I had my car RR'd with matched inlets and a remap and got 189.6bhp. That was a generous rolling road however. Another 182 (cant remember mods) got 184bhp.
So when your ideling its sitting at 2500rpm?
Id hazard a guess that the throttle body is sticking. Id be tempted to take it off an clean it up.
Have a search on TDC sensors as well
Why not just phone round a few local garages and ask? Theyre going to give you a more accurate answer than cs.
You know the cost of the parts now so at least you know they arent ripping you of on parts.
As title.
I want some 16.5cm speakers to try and add a little more mid bass to my music. However i want to keep the stock cabesse headunit.
I was thinking of maybe getting some from an Astra H. My gf has one and the mid bass etc is alot better. The speakers are also ofcourse designed to be...
Anyone from here?
Couldnt tell if the car was a valver or williams tbh. Looked tidy though whatever it was, Rollcage, lowered etc.
I was in the gf's Black Astra so doubt you would have seen me
Some people are anti every other car bar their own.
Im quite open to other cars. Most my comments are made in jest/light hearted. Unfortunately they dont always come across that way when your reading on a forum.
If ever our paths cross im always happy to have a little blast. I'm happy to be proven wrong. My post was made in relation to what ive seen on the road. As we all know though no two cars are the same.
Im just speaking from my personal experience which was the opposite...supprisingly! I...
One way of checking if the car has cup chasis is to measure the bolt spacing on the front hubs. Should be 60mm centre to centre if the car is cup packed.
Ive never heard of cup packed cars with silver wheels unless theyve been refurbed/swapped. Defo didnt come from the factory like that
Beg to differ tbh. Mk4 Golf GTI's a 1*2 can oblitorate. MK5 ive been neck and neck with and past 90+ i started to pull past quite comfortably. Edition 30 GTI would be a differnt story however
Whats that if mapped to 270...approx 250bhp ton?
Jesus lol. If a meggy 225 engine can be fitted to a Twingo..why havent we seen a 1*2 or 197 with a 225 engine in yet?
Agree'd when next to a 197 the 182 does look very dated. For the price difference on used 197's and 225's the 197 doesnt represent good value for money imo.
Personally i would go for a Meggy 225/R26 if i was going to change to a newer model Renault. I wouldnt give a 197 a second thought, that however is just my opinion. :)
