Hi,
As title really, is there anyone who is able to remove my matched inlets for me and refit my standard inlets? (upper and lower inlets) If so how much would you want for doing it?
Many thanks,
Russ
Can't fault you mate. Unfortunately my budget doesnt stretch to anything as exciting as that as im not sure how secure my job is atm so only want to buy what i can afford without any extra finance. Im also 23 but i need a car which can carry my tools etc to work with being an electrician (well i...
By all accounts they handle reasonably well if theyve had the recalls done by Audi? Heard steering feel is a little numb but other than that theyre quite capable cars.
What would you recomend for around the £7-7.5k mark? I considered BMW 330 coupes all though ive gone of them a little now if im...
I keep thinking i need a slightly more grown up car. Mk1 TT 225 keeps springing to mind but the Clios fairly cheap to run, reasonably quick but i fancy something i little more mature
So the car revs too 2500rpm whether its in neutral or in gear? Just sits at 2500rpm even with your foot of the accelerator? Or is it that you get to 2500rpm and the car stops accelerating?
If the car is sitting at 2500rpm then it might be worth cleaning your throttle body as that could be...
Can you be more specific? What other symptoms do you have?
Coil pack maybe? Knackered spark plug?
It would help if you could give us a little more detailed info.
I always borrow money from my savings each year to pay insurance. Repay it in installments each month when i get paid. Id rather loose the interest on the money ive taken out of savings rather than give the insurance company a shed load of cash in interest. Even more so now my savings earn...

^Yeah with 5 yrs ncb (i was just playing out of curiosity) i got a price of around £400. Unfortunately i didnt own my own car for first two years of driving as i was at college so i was a named driver on her car which is costing me now.
Can't believe the drop in insurance ive had this year. Ive always shopped around to find the best possible price so dont think i was paying over the odds last year either.
My insurance on the 182 last year was £800 inc the GF as a named driver.
My renewal came through from direct line at £653...
Ahhh fair enough then. I just remember threads have disapeared before after negative opinions but as its at your request then all is good. :)
Hows the car coming along now? any more updates?
Cant tell you the part number unfortunately as im not at home until Friday. I got one from the dealers no problem. Was circa £55 inc vat.
Ktec also sell them
So far i know the following cars have been to Angelworks and come back half finished, never resurfaced, or just generally taken 12months+ for work - Dave (minivalver), Ben_p and Steve's. Whos are the other cars that have been to Angel Works that Daniel mentioned?
Good luck with the inlets...
I can apreciate changing the headunit would get far better results. I have found this in the past. I just cant stand the look of an aftermarket headunit in the ph2 dash as imo it looks horrible. I was therefore hoping to find a way of improving the mid bass slightly by using larger speakers that...
