SRP can be.
Depending on what cut you want to give it, either use a polishing or finsihing pad. It works really well by machine. I tend to use it on a Sonus DAS Green or SFX white.
Still apply the EGP by hand though.
SRP and EGP IMO blow it to the weeds in durability stakes, look better and are quicker to do with one less step than the 3 stage Megs.
I would stick with the Autoglym pair and get a better carnuba wax to go over them.
TBH I really like the finish VM and RMG give, so would stick with them but you may aswell go straight to #16 straight after them - will look good though.
Otherwise I would be going down the AG SRP or Klasse AI) with Jeffs Acyrlic Jett Trigger Sealant topped with a Carnuba.
I use the VM first and then the RMG, as the VM has stronger cleaners than the RMG. Would not use either with a cutting pad.
The Duragloss Sealant will never bond properly to either of the CK Glazes so I would not expect great durability from it.
User error IMO - SRP dusts when to much is used and it is not worked correctly. There should be little or nothing to remove when worked properly so no dust. Any dust is excess wasted product.
EGP - needs to be applied so thinnly, again if over appliued the excess product that dusts is just waste.
Polish is one thing.
Wax is another.
Polish corects paint defects. Wax seals and protects.

Polishes by machine I like the Menzerna range, by hand AG Super Resin.
Waxes - P21s, Chemical Guys 50/50, Swissvax Onyx and Best or...
If the Swirls are not being removed you may need to step up to a light cut pad rather than a polishing pad.
Menzerna Intensive Polish has a simerler level of cut to Meguiars 83.
Does not sound right. Depending on which sized backing plate and counter weight your running it may have a little vibration. Centering the pad properly on the backing plate will also make a big difference.
Will need something more than a wax by hand I would expect. Try some Autoglym Super Resin Polish first, then step up to some Meguiars Scratch X if need be.
The key to SRP is working it really well till there is little or nothing to remove, not using to much so it does not dust.
Take a panel at a time after washing and drying, apply a 5 -20 pence sized blob on a foam applicator and work it into the panel, straight lines or circles it is up to you...
They dont make G5's anymore, MacPro has rnow eplaced them. New versions of them are expected soon so I would keep your money where it is for now.
Are you going to update your Creative Suite aswell? As CS1 and CS2 dont run that great on the new Intel Based machines.
They are not called ditchfinders for nothing!
They are fairly progressive though as you can feel the back end moving about and they brakeaway gradually. They where standard on my 306 XSi, would not purchase them out of choice though.
Autoglym Interior Cleaner or Autoglym Interior Foam on mild marks, though you may need something like Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner on more stubborn stains.
I use the Blue 3M Stuff it is water resistant, lower tack and can be left on longer.
