No problems where the wipers go then, a few people have reported it causes a haze? Water will bead well, I use it on all the other glass on mine.
Autogylm used to recommend using it on all glass bar the front screen when they supplied a small instruction booklet with every bottle of SRP a few...
Which megs wax?
I apply most waxes with a foam hand pad and remove with a plush microfiber.
How long have the wheels been done? If painted and fully cured I would suggest Autogylm Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss protection. If your feeling flush there are specialist wheel waxes available...
Final wipe with a normal microfiber may help.
I tend to always go over my windows with glass cleaner spray or Quick Detailer after washing to be honest.
NXT is a mild polish/sealant. Better of trying AG SRP, though to be honest a medium abrassive polish like Meguiars Scratch X will be needed at least to remove them I would think.
What polish you using?
Sounds like you have some heavy etching going on. Clay won't help it is for above the surface defects - bonded on crap that washing wont remove.
A decent polish will be needed if the laquer has been etched by the water marks. At worst if they are bad, a wet sand and...

Wesson's how slow are 182's thread over on the PSOOC posted today- http://www.pughosting.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=54383
Using a clean sandwich bag on your hand rub it across clean paintwork. If it catches on the paint you have contamination that clay will remove. I have never needed to clay my car yet, so you may be lucky.
LOL @ this thread ;)
Autoglym Tar and Adhesive remover for me, would rather dissolve it than shear it off with clay. As Brand86 says when fresh polsih will wipe it off, AG SRP works well. As soon as it drys, clay can be used to shear it off, or tar remover to dissolve it safely. After using the...
Vee spolier looks to much IMO on anything but the V6. Cup spolier however is a must to cover the horrible curved glass bit on the top of the rear screen.
