For PC use depends on the severity of the swirls and marks.
Mild defects may be sortable with Meguiars 80 Speed Glaze, Poorboys SSR 2 or Optimum Polish.
Most will need a light cut pad with Poorboys SSR 2.5, Megs #83 or something like DP Super Swirl Eliminator.
My go to for swirl removal by PC...
On Silver
Meguiars gold class shampoo
Meguiars Clay
Meguiars Scratch X
Autoglym Super Resin - for your light polishing/paint cleaning
Autoglym Extra Gloss - Sealant
P21s - Final Wax

Adam (acrebo) travelled all the way up to mine for a PC'ing on his 172 today. 120 odd miles all the way up from Exeter, to try and get it prepared for the FCS.
He clayed the car the other week. Paint was in good shape, no real swirl marks, odd marks here and there, so plan was to clean it up...
I would use Autoglym Resin and Extra Gloss, then wax.
Just done a silver 172 today. Another aproach if you have a PC.
Poorboys SSR 2.5
Optimum Polish
Optimum Car Wax
