The exhaust sounds nice.

In the flesh there is no real noticeable paint miss match. It was done by the previous owner though according to Adam.

Im going to buy Rich some silvervisions - i will fit them at the FCS for you

He has gone up to Worcester from here, we where worried about the rain.

Will check now.

Cheers Rich, back home safe and well! It rained a bit on the way home but it beaded fine and looks almost the same!

Really pleased with how it turned out. As we discussed, the paint is generally pretty good and didn't show up much in the way of bad swirls, etc, but it's still impressive how much deeper the shine is now and creates a much nicer colour in the sun.

The rear bumper seems to paint match fine in the flesh, probably just the pictures...

My dad just said he wondered about the rain :( The OCW is working well then. I washed 306 after you left, used the OCW on it last week (and about 500 miles later), just with a quick wash it came up looking nice. I think yours will do the same next time you wash it.

The metallic flake was popping nicely in that bit of sun we did get. Glad your happy with it.

Lol, yeah I'll get some new supplies and give it a once over on Tuesday just to get the motorway muck off but for 130 miles of drizzle and horrible splash-back it's looking very nice.

I think it's far to say the camera doesn't do either car justice, I didn't notice quite HOW immaculate your's is at WSM... stunning. Oh, and the Lamb was nice too, say cheers to your mum for me! :D

At leats it looks ok ish still!

Yeah camera does not pic up as good as it looks in real life, cheers for the comments on mine.

Glad you enjoyed the roast dinner too ! That will please my mum.

Free roast dinner with every PC'ing lol

looks good Rich, amazing on how good the titanium looks when cleaned right up, just wish u had some sun to see all the flecks...

Good job...

We had a couple of brief moments of full sun, so we where able to see some of the Flecks. Shame we could not catch them on camera.

As good as it got.

Silver has to be the hardest colour to get shine out of, but Rich, you have done well there! It does look good!

Tyson.

It was easier to do that Black I know that much, the results are not as noticeable though.

yeh i find its the easiest colour to clean, but next to my missus 306 xs in moonstone blue the titanium still does not shine like that, unless the sun catches it and the right angle...sometimes wonder when i gave her the car and bought the 182, then i drive it and thats why...

piks dont do it justice do they...

It is nice silver, made my 306 which is also silver look dark and dull compared to the really bright silver on the 172.

agree, the silver is wicked in the right light when the flecks jump out at you. its just so hard to get piks of unlike the black/gold.

It was quite strange comparing it to the 306, as when I first pulled up and the 172 was dirty, the 306 seemed to be gleaming in comparison. By the time we finished, the 306 still looked clean, but the silver seemed to have turned into grey!

The car will be looking the same (or as near as I can get to it!) at the FCS, so hopefully it'll be a nice, sunny day and people can see how deep and swirl-ree the paint is looking now.

acrebo, where bouts are you based?

I washed the 306 after you left Adam as the hose etc was all out, and was impressed how slick that the paint still felt. I am very impresssed with the OCW at the moment.

I'm in Exeter mate.

I'm going to give the car a once-over tomorrow but it looks like it'll be a pretty effortless job, no dirt seems to be sticking to the paintwork, very good sealant! Can't believe how quick and easy it was to apply either, no need to break out in a sweat after all that PC work! :)
