I would expect a phone call to be honest, but in emails things like course programmes that don't make sense, you'd just say you were workng or on a course there.
Like you said, you wouldn't pay over £700 for one, and you will get a sh!t rust bucket with moon mileage for that. Pay the 1.5-2K mark and you will get a mint restored car with alot of history. These mint cars are rare and that is why you pay the premium. Supply and Demand.
Right, the part is made by SAGEM, same as the last one I got from Renault, but beat this.......
I went to Peugeot to by a part for my Renault and it came in a Citroen box. Got to love the French.
I'm pretty sure the engine in the Vee was a joint effort built by both Peugeot and Renault used...
Off to Peugeot in a minute to pick a coil up for the Vee,
Renault = 34.84 + VAT
Peugeot = 20.22 + VAT
Same part manufactured by the same company. Why can Renault charge so much?
Where as, put £1500 of it away for a year or two and then you've got a 172 almost, I know as a first car everyone wants something nice but its alot of money in the short term.
I've read most of your should I shouldn't I threads mate and I really got the feeling you didn't want the 172, not sounding bad but I really hope chucking your money at the 172 isn't the last resort, cause it could work out expensive in the long run if you still don't want to keep it.
What you really aiming for? and what do you want it for?
To be honest I'd say £2K on your first car is alot, but I haven't bought a first car in 8 years so I could be talking sh!t. If your after a 172/182 in the long run, I'd advise saving a few quid and look for something a bit cheaper for...
How important are filters quality wise? Are you going to notice much difference between the top end ones and cheap ones when only using budget lens? I.e bundle 18-55 and £150 Tamron zoom 70-300.
I've read about ring flashes but they are limited to Macro photos?? couldn't justify affording that, I'm on a budget like you mate and taking photos isn't cheap as I now know.
Is it not true hat some Volvos have clocked close to 1 million? I do think over 100K your asking for trouble unless you they have a FSH but then again you have to pay a premium for them and can probably get a car on 70K for the same price.
I was thinking of something like the Canon speedlite 430x or whatever it is called.
Like you said I don't want to jump right in and waste a couple of hundred and find I need alot more.
Its amazing how much this photography can cost, I thought 400 notes would be enough!!!
