r-jay, thats what we're testing at the moment, it HAS to be 100% perfect IMO, so i'll let you all know and post pictures when i have the finished wheel

ONLY need to run the +ve through the car to the battery in the boot (keep in internal)
the shell of the car is the earth, everything electrical is earthed to the shell
NO NEED to run the earth

they took the head off the engine to change a PAS pipe???
erm, ok!!!
there are 2 PAS lines on the 172, 1 is the presurised line going form the pump to the rack = £175
the other i believe is just a return hose = £70 (this one is VERY easy to change
if they took the head off, a)...
with that nut on, you CAN'T mount the top mount bearings correctly = bad
order goes (working from bottom to top)

top mount bearing
rubber doughnut
brass spacer
original renault retain nut
then you fit to strut turret for underneath
then the final top nut/cap goes on...
