no, you need to remove the second sensor, but leave it connected (and blank off the hole) the second sensor must read cleaner than the first, the only way to do that is to tie it under the car, but out of the exhaust stream cups seem to be ok with both in, or just 1 172s are weird, some...

172s dont like back pressure, the std backbox causes a sh*t load of back pressure as does the CAT for decent power you want at least a 63mm system through out
