    Audi S3, mk1 TT, R26 ex/owners

If I was buying now I’d buy over 100k miles, knowing I wanted the b8 and eibach kit, the above brake/power mods and then just enjoy. £3/4K on the car and then go from there. I just found a great car on Auto Trader...

    Audi S3, mk1 TT, R26 ex/owners

Why (and hello)? Bought at £7k, sold at £4k in 2014 four years later... I think, it was a while ago. £4k should get you a decent spec and mileage car. These go into the 150k+ miles with very little work. Tuffty's is on a fair wack over on AudiSport, albeit with a lot of mods.

    Audi S3, mk1 TT, R26 ex/owners

Great cars, but would never go back. Something RWD after this is a very different beast. Pluses are it was easy to tune (look at Welly cooler, catback and Badger 5 3" TIP + MAP), very comfy seats, launch with ESP off was floor and forget, cruise, sunroof all mod cons etc. Bad points, check for...

    Alternative to usual ISPs?

Thanks chap, just spotted it. Contacted. Rowan, not a problem, they've lived in Bath for a few years but only just "gained control" if that makes sense.

    Alternative to usual ISPs?

I don't know any apart from Relish. Could you either provide some suggestions or presume I can just type that in?

    Alternative to usual ISPs?

Hi folks, A member of my family has just bought a flat in Bath. Setting them up with internet, it's become clear that the usual suspects either cannot deliver or provide a very low MB/S speed. Sky - 4-6 Virgin - no go Zen - 5 Vodafone - 4-7 etc Rightmove seems to suggest we could get 60mbps but...

    MarkCup's 2017 Ford Focus RS

This thread is far too long and detailed to read the majority of posts. However, to the argument of black/anthracite/grey wheels over silver, this photo absolutely confirms you've made the right choice. Ford appear to have the most brilliant "hyper silver" finish to their OEM alloys. Something...

    Megane R26R

I'm not really adding much here, Ant, but classic filler foul. Your wash and dry process is just fine. Me thinks you've been taken for a ride sadly. Wishing you well with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are you a retired architect? Love the colour, but agree with DocRollo, it does look chavvy with the canards etc.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

I found I couldn't gauge the amount coming out properly and thus couldn't work out how much I'd applied in which area. Makeup pads had X number of dabs against the product I'm using and that gets me closer to guaranteeing even coverage.

Yes. It's not quite as revolutionary as you'd hope, sadly. I'd stick to makeup pads.

    Wheel wax???

Rim wax is useless. PBWS is an old favourite and the smell is just divine. AFMR is highly regarded. Megs I don't know. However, they are all products that don't need a lot of prep (a good thing) but will need reapplying every 3-6 months, depending on car use.

    Wheel wax???

Not really - your bodywork won't experience the same temperatures your wheels are exposed to.
