is the bolt that connect the tripod to the batt mount still in one piece? mine started banging too turned out to be that bolt had been slitghly loose making the hole in the tripod oval and breaking the bolt. due to the Vibratechnics there was no sag on that side so very hard to diagnose....

That would look brilliant with one of the Marc R battery covers. The oil catch can would probably sit better on the battery cover as it can be bolted at the bottom too.

They do look a work of art! I see you have them on yours :tongueout: are you able to compare them to then vibratechnic mounts, and could you fit them yourself or would you need a garage to fit them?

Simple mate, just make sure you support the sump before removing the mount.

How is it to fit the new engine mounts? Looking st either the ktec race mounts or thr vibratechnic mounts

Discovered my engine mount had been doing naff all. Not sure when this actually happened, but I could have done track days like this! Now fitted with a Vibratechnics one

Sorry my tags are turned off. But yes, the vibrations are minimal on mine and I have everything polybushed along with the Vibratechnics mounts, interior panels can rattle a bit a certain revs/frequencies, but that's probably just my car as I have no back seats and all the interior panels have...

I have the vibratechnics ones, along with the Evol dogbone which has black series in it. Essentially I have the stiffest set up you can get (apart from the PURE set up but that is proper race stuff) Vibrations aren't even bad at all. I genuinely don't see what people go on about on here...
