looked on the boards.
there seem to be a few roumors buzzing about
i have a willy,with de-cat air filter and sport system.
i want the ecu chipped but some say NO nad some say YES!!!???
peps with the chip please let me know as i have heard that a few have had pinking probs when this chipp...
after finding out i have a 19 16v ecu in my willy i have replaced it with a std one.BUT the ecu was un touched untill it went in to be "chipped" at a renault tuner about 3-4 yrs ago(with last owner/lady) i still have the recipts for this work being carried out,after removing and taking the metal...
I HAVE BEEN TOLD TODAY THAT I HAVE A R19 16V ECU IN MY WILLY!SURLY THIS CANT BE ANYGOOD FOR THE ENGINE? ETC TEC
WHY DO THEY DO THIS?
AND WHAT PROBS WILL IT CAUSE EG DOWN ON POWER ETC?
my willy is getting worse it keeps cutting out must have done it about 4 times to day! the revs go low and then she dies on me anyone witha ny ideas?
as im waiting to get it puged on a computer? anyone had this done a t renault before?££££
anyone had trouble geting these?
changed on on my willy and it keeps dying on me every now and then,and the old one which i took off has a diff number,BUT bosch have superseeded the old number and replaced it with this new one,the old was 086 and the new is 198!
but the new ones are used...
put a direct re-placment on my willy last week and what a difference!
really has free up some more power,evern the other half noticed it and she dont now her arse from here elbow!!!

i was watching rev bob last night and there was a willy against a valver on there at santa pod,the willy got 16.1 ish and was all done up with bad boy bonnet etc
anyone on here?
i ahve an inklin that this has packed up on my willy as its running slightly rich!
anyone changed one on a willy or know how i can test it? also are they easy to change? is it located near the inlet or outlet of the engine ?????

i have been told u cant adjust these on a willy 3 as its proberly a sensor or something?

so i acn buy them for a fraction of the price at andyspares!?

were abouts should a normal willys fan cut in at on the in-car temp gauge?
as mines cutting in right at the very near top!?
by the way no warning light comes on!

my will3 has 70k on it and has been chipped at prima racing,alsong with a de-cat sprint exhaust and an induction kit(comming soon)!!
im est at about 170?
as im new to the seen,can you point out the diff between the wiilly/16v APART FROM THE ENGINE SPEC/INTERIOR!!!
as i know the dark blue 16vs look very similar to the willy!??
