I have designed some 3d printed replacement sunvisor mount covers for the commonly broken ones on the Clio 3
Main body of the cover clips onto the mount and the small infill panel then clips onto the cover, which allows the cover to be removable should it be required.
These are 3d...
Just wondering if anyone can confirm whether the 172 Xenon headlights are still available from Renault? I believe the part numbers are 7701051794 (drivers side) and 7701051793 (passenger side).
Cheers
Recently I got a replacement oil cap for my Ph2 172 - Part No 8200062947 - but it doesn't seem to fit :(
The diameter of the cap is slightly larger than the original cap and means that the side of the inlet manifold runner interferes with it, and I physically can't secure down onto the engine...
In the last week I have been getting intermittent, tending to in the last day or so more permanent AIRBAG + SERV lights on the dash - though when I start the car no lights show for a few seconds before they come on again. I had hoped it was the common pretensioner connector issue under the seats...
Howdy all - apologies in advance for the long winded post! I am looking for some advice regarding the suspension on my 172.
Currently I am running Koni yellows with Eibach Sportlines, but will be getting my hands on a rollcentre kit shortly. Now I understand that if I were to run the...
Thought I'd post a vid of a lap of Phillip Island in my 172, just in case anyone was wondering what it would be like in their Clio :tonguewink:
Running AD08Rs on Turinis, koni yellows/sportlines, camber bolts, solid topmounts, ktec/vibratechnic engine mounts, DS2500 front pads/Motul RBF600...
Hiyas
Part number for Clio 1*2 throttle body is 8200110998 or 8200110994, which is also the part number for the Twingo 133 throttle body. From pics they look identical.
I am right in thinking they are the same part yeah? Just wanting to confirm before I go ahead and order one that is listed...
Right - a bit of background. Currently running Sportlines/Konis/Compbrake topmounts with Turinis/205/45/16's and am keen to raise the front of the car up a bit - say 10mm or so.
The reasons I am keen to do this are:
I currently get a little bit of rubbing on the liner near the front bumper...
G'day CSers
I am looking to 3d scan a complete thumb grip and then have it 3d printed - I just need one and I can then mirror the file to print off 2.
Is it possible to separate the thumb grips from the wheel itself? I assume so but not 100% sure.
Currently my thumb grips are ok but I have...
Noticed this on the car for a while now. Everything on the trip computer all works fine but the 'mileage since last reset' won't go higher than 999kms - in other words it hits 999km and then goes back to 0km. I could have sworn that it used to but just in-case I am imagining things, am I right...
Full disclosure - I have Vibratechnics/Ktec engine mounts and Powerflex dogbone bushes in my 172 and with those it had a bit of increased vibration over the oem mounts but tbh not much (I was fairly careful with the installation :) )
Now, I did a trackday last month and the car was great...
Hi
Had DS2500's (FCP565H) fitted on the front along with new front rotors and bedded brakes in as directed. Have now got a squeak coming from the passenger side front when not on the brakes and at all speeds but it isn't constant and comes'n'goes. Symptoms include:
- sound is a...
Does anyone know if it is possible to fit 182 driveshafts and hubs onto a Ph2 172?
I know 182 driveshafts won't fit onto a 172 due to the driveshaft cv/hub end being different (location of abs ring etc), but if you were to fit 182 hubs then the 182 driveshafts should fit yes?
I assume the 182...
I have the dreaded driveshaft knocking on my 2002 FF172 and I've been damn near tearing my hair out.
I was experiencing it with -1.5degrees camber on high load left hand corners - awful, awful feeling. I have been speaking to people over here in Oz about it, there are a few guys here on OzRS...
