how to fasten side panel in boot for amp

I used short self-tapping screws, i.e only screw into the car panel about 5 or 6mm. nothing show on the outside, but if you do find the screw tip come through to the other side of the wheel arc, i would just dad a bit of silicon sealant around it to prevent leakage. how to fasten side panel in boot for amp

I would simply screw a piece of MDF to the side panel in the boot then mount the amp on that, like i have done here. I then simply covered the mdf in carpet so it blends in.http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/gallery/full/1098181480__IMG_2510.jpg

6 by 9’s anywhere but parcel shelf

Yeah ive heard of people doing that before, mounting 6x9s in individual boxes in the boot. Should work well as sealed enclosures behind the speakers will help improve the sound quality as a sealed enclosure does for a sub. But yeah boxing them in the boot should work well.
