I have a mk1 clio sport and my mot is due later,
I have checked all my lights but only one fog light is working on the right hand rear side...
should i have 2 working or is there only one fog light?
I had picked up the wrong bulb in Halfords! Doh!
Ok i have the correct bulb now...only problem now is fitting the damn thing!
Do i need to remove the air filter pipes?
Or is there an easier way?
My headlight bulb went the other day so i took a trip 2 Halfords and matched the part number up in the book they have by the bulbs
Found out earlier its the wrong bulb...and it took me ages to try and take the air filter pipe out so i could get at the back of the light unit!
The bulb looks...
The squeaking dissapeared for a few days but is now back and its louder
The strange thing is that it dissapears when i dip the clutch but when i bring the clutch back up again u can hear it again
Only seems to happen at low speeds
Any other ideas guys??
On my fuel cap it says Ron 98 recommended.....
So does this mean if i use a lower octane rating i will get lower performance???
I definately notice a difference when using optimax compared to other 'super unleadeds'
I heard a few months ago that they were not making these in the anthracite colour anymore? this true?
Also are the superleggs much lighter than the standard MK1 172 wheels?
I aint got a spare....got tyre foam instead coz my spare was buggered!
Its only the rim of the wheel that is buckled and theres no vibration coming from it when im driving
Can i just swop the damaged one for a normal wheel or will i have to change them all?
My 172 failed its MOT yesterday...front drivers side alloy is slightly buckled!!
Renault want 156 quid for a new one and cant find any second hand ones
Can i just put a normal wheel (not alloy) on just for the mot and then put the alloy back on or will i need to get a new alloy for it 2 pass??
