Getting to the point of starting to look at ecu's to work with Itb's/cams etc. Id like to run something like a Dash2 system as well. Can anyone recommend me a ecu that would work well with both? Plug and play ideally don't really fancy rewiring the car ?
Cheers.
Can anyone reccomend or know of anyone that does livery designs? Not too fusssd on it being custom would be quite happy with a pre made design that’s posted to you that you apply yourself. Had a quick google and the only things I’m finding cost thousands :anguished::anguished::anguished:
Cheers.
Looking at getting a new chest on rollers to take to track/race days. Gonna be kept in the garage and loaded into the van for outings so I can keep everything I need in one place, knowing I've got everything and keep small spares like disks/pads etc in. What have people got for this? I like the...
So I've got a bit of a weird one. Checking my bolts with a torque wrench yesterday on track and found that one wouldn't do up. Took the wheel off and the stud has come out a bit. Try to do that up with no success and then find that the thread on the disk has perished. This is the second time...
So i've got sparco buckets, side mounts, runners and subframes I want to get fitted up. The lot only came with 8 bolts which im pretty sure are for attaching the sidemounts to the seat itself. Ive looked on the forum and found I need m8x50mm 10.9 bolts and use the original nuts for the subframe...
Interested to know if anyone has fitted a spoiler/wing on their track/race cars especially for those running higher power. Something similar to the BYC one (pic below). Or does anyone have a link to any research done to see if it actually makes a big enough difference to performance. Thanks.
Leaning towards a Quaife ATB Diff for my 182 track car. Any recommendations on where to go to have one installed? I'm in the south and not far from KTEC who will supply/install one for 1.8K. Not really looking for the cheapest option more after someone reliable to do the job. I don't mind...
I'm after the box in the centre of the upper dash in the pics below. Ive seen a few people using it in their track/race cars so must be something you can buy? Sorry if i nicked a photo of anyone's car :grimacing:
Next on my list for the 182 is getting a cage sorted but I cant decide on which one. For the moment I am just doing track days and the main reason for wanting one is safety and harness mounting. In the future I would like to race and obviously then the regulations come into play. Ive had a look...
As title says. Looking for a post coilover install alignment and camber check for a track 182. I'm in Hampshire and about two hours from MarkFish (unless anyone can recommend anyone closer to me) so tempted to take it there but had a few questions first...
Ive seen alot of people use camber...
Interested in seeing how many people make their track only cars road legal? I work in a van and have another car so I don't really need another car on the road. Was thinking of trailering the car to track days as the van is more than capable. (also if the car blows up on a track day i can still...
Im in the process of stripping out my interior and left with all the wiring etc. what can i do to tidy it up? would putting it down the channels to the side mean cutting and extending the wires?
Does anyone provide a stripping service to remove what I don't need. I don't have a clue about...
Sooooo, after about a month of looking at 182's that weren't up to scratch I finally found one I liked. Load of history and been looked after. loved the seats too ;)
The master plan!
Interior: Stripped, keep the current seats? cage and harness.
Suspension: BC Racing Coilovers & Top...
As title says. Looking for suspension package for a Clio 182 for around the 1k mark (can be slightly over). Done a lot of searching on the forums and lots of people say AST but simply cant afford them at the moment. Seems to come down to the Bilstien B14's or H&R coilovers.
Will be used for...
