If you go to settings, then Power and untick 'Fast Boot'. Turn your phone off, take the battery out and then put battery back in and turn it on this should hopefully solve your running slow issue. Let me know how you get on.

The i3 is supposed to be a much quicker processor but I've had no experience. I felt it was worth getting that then upgrading the memory at a later date if I ever felt it was needed. Easy to upgrade memory, than it is a processor!!!
