Having been out in a R32 at the ring, all I can say is understeer bardge, damn fast though, but I foudn that you had to plough in to a corner understeering then power on to sort it all out with the AWD, and the body roll :| that had uprated ARB's on it too. But that was stepping out my 205 track...
I'm guilty of it, I reverse off the drive with it off to see, then I'll stick it on abotu 200metres down the road (while moving though)
But if I'm parked facing forward out the drive then I'll put it straight on,
Just have to live with plebs on the road :(
Yeah, we should organise a meet, I have been down to one or two at South Mimms on a sunday before :)
I gotta black dynamique -60mm on OZ Super legras with LED rear lights, Xenon (factory fit) headlights, climate control and air con (optional extra again) n a very very loud sound system...

After months of hunting for one, I finally got my hands on a airbox for the clio. It's on, but I seem ot be missing the seal between the box and the TB, has anyone got a pic of what it's meant to look like so I can bodgey a copy as renault can't supply just that bit, it's the whole...
Mine seems to spend more time off the road than on at the moment, still will get there eventually, but what do you expect from a 13year old car,it's going to have niggles.
Hey fella!!
Im not loged in as me! :P Im trying to sort out muy acount as I registered time ago, and forgot my details!!
It was me tho! I gotta 1.4 16v clio, went thru safmimms tonight, saw ya!!
Didnt stop, as I was on my way to a mates house...
brilliant compound, like pagid's but cheaper, just seem to keep getting stronger as you abuse them more, use them in the 205 nova and the 16v, love them.
Having just bought a 16v, got to say it's a great little car as std, nippy bit not fast, and handles nicely too. really depends if you can do the work yoruself the parts will be cheap. I just paided 1200 for mine 67k FSH leather seats insurance was 600. good cheap motoring.
Well I've lasted all of 6 days before buying upgrades for the clio. Picked upa new indiator stalk and headlight cover for £10 from the scrap man, then had a hunt on ebay and found this:

And it...
Hi I've just bought a clio 16v, and loving it, but the car has an intermittent fault, the car will randomly judder/kangroo. It's happening mostly on light throttle but has happned once at full throttle.
I've swapped cap and arm, leads and plugs as I've been told these are often worth...
They came on the car like that, but I was going to do exactly that to them when I got them so it saved me £120.
I use a place called BJV engineering google it and will come up Andrew and Brian always do a top job then done 5 sets for me now.
Thank you for the big welcome, the clio has a few niggles which I'm trying to iron out. Has an intermittent judder from the engine, had new leads, plugs and cap and arm. My mechnic who's a full trained renault mech says the throttle pot is mostly likely worn. Is this a common thing??
Cheers JAmes
Thought I'd say hiya. Just bought a '93 clio 16v as my daily car. So have joined up for advice and too see the common issues with them. Only done about 100miles in it so far, I'm very impressed by the road holding, just flat round the corners.
My track car is a nova (not too many boos please) so...
