As above, this is for a main dealer in Colchester Essex.
Also, when they say 'oil change' does this include gearbox oil too? If not, when should this be done?
Cheers! :)
Nope, not yellow...gun metal grey.
Seriously considering getting one when the insurance runs out on the clio... :quiet:
Just phoned the local 'stealer' and it turns out they're much cheaper than expected...£35 for a full diagnostic check! Mentioned that other people i've spoken to said it was...
Thanks for your help peeps...
I was thinking maybe coil just from what i've picked up on here really...
Hmmmmmm, don't think my finances will stretch to £75-£85 at the moment, can any garage hook it up to a diagnostic or does it have to be renault, is it a clip machine or something?
Thanks guys, he definitely sh*t on me and i'm not happy with the way the clio sounds right now, just feels like something ain't quite right...
Any ideas how much it'll be to get a full diagnostic at a stealers?
My 172's been sounding pretty rough and feeling quite sluggish recently so i've been driving it pretty slow instead of burning round like I usually do. The other day I was behind a CTR who thought he would have a bit of fun...
Kept up with him through 1st and 2nd and then he pretty much...
Nope, no other lights on with it at all...checked the oil from the dipstick and that's fine too...random!
Any more for any more or shall I just put it down to the car being french??? :S
My SERV light came on yesterday when I got in my car, turned the ignition off then on again and it went away and hasn't returned?
Seems to be running ok though...
Any ideas?...should I get it to Renault? :S
Think this is because your ecu is still sending a signal to the alarm saying the ignition is on, think this happens for about 3-4 seconds, try leaving it a little longer before locking, see how you get on...
Got a powerflow cat back 'stealth' system for my 172 for £200 - plus when I needed to go back to Bury st Edmunds and have it re-sealed they paid my petrol!
Am quite happy with it in terms of how it sounds and that, just isn't really that 'stealth as you can see the back box below the bumper...
Oh well, hopefully nothing to worry about then...must be something to do with the colour!
Mate just told me that he thought it might be a fan winding down or something?
S**t, you are joking right?!...
Whenever I hear those words I get very, very scared...Take it that it's an expensive job?
S********************IT! :dapprove:
As above...
Happens a few nanoseconds after I switch off the engine and can only be described as a spaceship shutting down...like a dwwwwwwwwww, getting lower and quieter towards the end. (how hard it is to describe noises?!)
Help?!
