hi iv not long got car back from garage and they put 10w 40 semi synthetic oil in my clio 172 w reg i thought they were suppose to have 5w 40 fully synthetic but the bloke at garage said 10w 40 would be ok? is it ok to run these cars with 10w 40 semi or not?

Hi ya iv just brought a 172 and love it but its in need of a cambelt being changed and wondered if anyone knew any good garages in maidstone/ashford area to take their clios? as the garage i normally go to said they woulnt do it as you need special tools for it. :S. well thanks for any replys!
