Oh really. One I'm looking at has just had two engine sensors changed plus brake and clutch sensor. It's just been lowered and has nice wheels. My car keeps cutting out and I'm sick of suspension knocks. I do love 35 mpg tho
Hi
Got a ph1 172 and there is a rattle coming from somewhere. I've emptied spare wheel well and put everything back in. I've removed boot cover and check rear wiper. I've tigtened boot catch.
It sounds like one of the rear seats isn't clipped back but does it if I unclip them and push em...
Oh thanks. Was lucky gave guy part no. you gave me over phone and he didn't argue or ask for reg etc. Go part sent from Notts to my branch by midday and picked up at 2 so all good really.
Fitting tomorrow. Thanks for all help. Was suprised that pads were £49+vat tho. Think OE ones will do for...
I was messing. I know I'm not a member no more. Why have I got to ring round. Shouldn't they all be same?
Thanks for part no but one near me won't let u have a thing by part no. Really akward. Wouldn't even sell my mate a centre cap cause his 1.2 didn't come with alloys!
These look good:

Are the rear discs the same on all 1*2. I have a ph1 one and Motorfactors seem very unsure on what to sell me. I know I need a set of bearing (or discs with them pressed in.) Was quoted £25 per disc and £25 for bearings. So be around £100. Does that sound right?
Also I'm sure these are the...
Think I'm gonna go for Poorboys stuff. Get their sealant and Blackhole glaze. Was happy with Natty Blue cause of the wet look but couldn't seal with egp so hopefully I can seal Blackhole with their sealant.
To be honest never really found EGP a bugger to get off. As long as car was in shade.
I've been using SRP and EGP for a while now. Also got Nattys Blue Paste wax. Now my wash mitt has had it so thought maybe use Halford 3 for 2 offer and get wash mitt, SRP and EGP but don't know.
Do Halfords do any decent wash mitts and is there a better sealant out there?
Yeah I snapped one but other one looks ready so it's both. A motorfactor is supposed to be getting me some Monday after taking mine in. Even EuroCarParts ones are the short ones. Don't get it. Flamin French
Can anyone tell me the length of a ph1 handbrake cable. Been quoted 1360mm and 1415 from Eurocarparts but mine are longer. Mine are more like 1400 and 1500mm. Could someone look on dialogys or something?
Snapped handbrake cable so got a QH one and it's inch and half too short! Got my money back tho. Anyone brought a non Renault one before? Mines a ph1 and spares place said thats the only one they do and where suprised it didn't fit.
I was wondering how hard it is to lead a new wire to speaker from headunit. I'm alright at getting headunit out and splicing a new wire and I've had door card off just need to find out how to get it from inside to the door.
I have searched a bit but not really found a good answer with pics...
Oh ok. I did think it looked a bit weak. Alot of shops seem to be doing JBL GTO2000 cheap so I might go for that.
I know what you mean bout weak amps. Had to laugh at mate he had his gain on minimum and bass on full and moaned it sounded crap. Looked at it and it had this pink noname pink...
Looking at getting a Kenwood KAC-629S. I know it's not got lots of watts (150rms 350peak) but suppose to be good crisp sound and matches my sub box nice (I know bit sad.)
Thought should do trick for a ten inch sub. I'm not looking for massssive bass just want to take strain on rest of speakers...
