i leave it in gear because like most people said i park on a hill at home so it stop the car going anywere if the handbrake fails .. but still i cant think of any thing how this would affect it starting!! i havnt tried different gears usualy is 3rd or 2nd i leave it in anyway it seems to...

a while ago my car wasnt starting all the time but it would bump start, i read a few threads on here and people mentioned tdc sensors etc, however i have found that if i leave my car parked in gear usualy overnight or all day when im at work, when i come to it it wont start.. whereas...

could anyone tell me where the TDC sensor is on a 2003 1,4 16v clio? been havinbg problems getting it started without pushing it in 3rd geaer and tunring the engine over a few times for last few days and a few thread son here have said wd40 the sensor or something??

hopefully going to renault tomorrow morning, £57.50 to put it on diagnostics, but if its a loose earth surely that wont be picked up on the machine??

the light on mine stays on until i turn the ignition back to off. managed to get it started before put it in first gear and rocked it backwards and forwards a few times and it started..!! wierd...starting to annoy me now.. cant rely on the car in a morning for work!:mad:

ive had a very similar problem to this recently on my 1.4 16v ph2 (20003)turns over but wont start it unlocks and locks with teh remote central locking, the red flashing light on the dash statys solid when i trun the ignition, its bumps starts but only sometimes, it only wont start every now...

ive got this problem, when i set off and get into second gear hear a rattle only fora bout 2 seconds, sounds like its coming from left hand side of engine bay too, also when braking get a grindin noise when im nearly at a stop just wondering if they could be linked ?

were abouts was the connection?? easy enough to get to and fix or not?

when i brake my rear fog light..light on the dash has started to show at the same time?? is this some sort of short of 2 wires? i wouldnt know were to start looking... cheers..

can you get exaltos in 185/55/15 fitment? im after some new tyres for front this weekend and these lookthe best sort..

started last night, when ever i turn right there is a rumbling noise that sounds like its coming form the wheel, its speeds up and slows down with the revs when im driving, i checked to see if the arch liner was rubbing on the tyre or anything but i couldn tfind anything, i thought wheel...

haha that was mine last week!! cleaned it now though, main road is closed from were i liev so i was going down proper single track country roads all week and didn thave time to clean it,. i work in 5 hangar by the way, its only a 1.4 16v aswell.

mines only got it on passenger side, id rather it be there the last ca ri had was completely de-locked and i got locked out of it twice!!! :mad: :mad:

ive ordered a set of h11's and a set of h1's off ebay, cost me about £27 in all, hopefully there all the right ones, i was after a set of xenon lamps but every wher ei try there sold or not for sale... there for a mk2 ph2 by the way forgot to mention

Am i right in thinking i want H1 bulbs for my main beam, i want to get some replacement whiter/brighter bulbs, anyone got anyreally good ones they can reccomend?

my wiper blades have just about had it, the ones i have at the moment are the OEM ones, ive heard of the flat blades before and heard mixed opinions about them, also the bosch ones but are there different types of bosch ones or other blades that i could get?

are you after one to light the number plates up? ive been looking for them cant find them anywhere although no doubt someone will know somewhere
