the cover its self is rattlin about on the bracket by the looks of it. i have tightened the nut up a bit but like i say i was guna try some silicone on that so that it could still flex but hopefully stop the noise?

sounds like fuel injection pump problem to me. could it possible be the injection pump thats making the noise? i cant say iv seen under the bonnet on one of these so duno the position of this on these engines sory

ye a book is rele what you need 2 go with it all but it still givs u some sort of idea as what some things are.

well there shud be power at the switched wire with ignition on obviously and wen off no power, im not sure myself where the actual wire comes from but you could take a feed from any other ignition live rele. as i have never rele worked on these cars as im a plant mechanic not cars i wouldnt like...
