Ant1 - Nice... I take it you work in Andover, or maybe you came off for some Optimax?! Are you local to Salisbury?
Im in Durrington. I sort of know a bloke with a red 172 in Durrington, maybe hell come? Lets sort out a mini meet, soon!
Ant1, Day, me, Martin (red172), CraigEd(?), any...
Thanks all, thanks Ant1!
Ant1, other than the Mangex(?) and suspension, what other mods do you have?
I think we need to move forum and organise a small meet?
D
I work in Andover... Live near Amesbury.
I take the missus car if we go shopping. I hate car park dings in doors by mindless to**ers.
Come to think of it, I havent seen you, mate. Are there any Salisbury "meets" then?
D
I get this now and again.
So far it could maen a whole host of things, depending on what else if any thing is wrong...
Does it idle ok? If the coil has gone a plug wont get a spark, causing the dash light etc.
Lambda sensor?
Different dirty fuel?
Mine comes on now and again, stays...
Too true. Tesco knocked £30 off my renewal premium whaen I told them of the stainless. The telephone operator then said sorry!!
I have checked the policy and the exhaust is covered in the new policy. I have paid £80 for the suspension, minus the £30for the exhaust. It doesnt make sence really...
I drove down to the French GP a couple of years ago in my 172, I drove through the night, wasnt flashed once! I wouldnt bother with the lights, ulless the lever is there...
Ive just put in 5w 40 Shell ultra blah blah. I change the oil every 6000 miles. Dont bother with the oil filter every 6000 miles, just 12000 services.
Just my take on it!!
Sorry to sound dim but.
The cover locates onto the two studs that wind into the engine block and then the nuts hold it in place. I need the stud part number and nut.
Is the part Im talking of called a nut but is in fact two pieces??
Again, sorry to be so thick. Its just Im trying to get...
I need to know the part number of the bolt/bit of stud that holds the cover over the fuel rail. The fuel rail cover is usually held on by two bolts/studs, one of mine has sheared and needs to be replaced. The cover rattles at certain revs which is annoying.
Any peeps with Renault part numbers...
Maybe it might lose performance, it is negligable though, and gained again with the ITG panel filter (again negligable).
The noise is increased slightly over the std configuration(sp?).
All-in-all, an easy DIY sugestion, thats all! ;)
Try this... It sonds much better! The supply of cool air can still be pointed at the hole leaving a small gap for sound. :D
