Be wary of motorprovider my father inlaw bought a new 320d SE but it turned out to be a basic 320d specced up. Things are still missing that the SE would have had standard. Make sure the spec is correct before you drive away. One other thing is you realise their imports too.
Regarding top speed i had an indicated 145 in my wifes cup two up, i was chasing a cup in a 3.2 GSI vectra last week and from 90-130 i had to drop into 4th to stay with it. Before anyone says i know the vectra isnt the fastest but it aint no slouch and to be honest i was shocked that i had to...
Gp i thought the golf was quick too 6.6 for a chunk of metal weighing eh 1279 lighter than i thought, although it was the 180 bhp anniversary
Focus RS 1278 kg
CTR 1204 kg
172 cup 980 kg ?
Banzai have tested the RS Vs CTR Vs Golf 1.8t road a track and the results were :
1st Focus RS 1.27.00
2nd Golf 1.8t 1.29.24
3rd CTR 1.31.40
They said that the in the CTR the time reflects our lack of confidence in the chassis and/or tyres as on the limit lift off oversteer was punishing.
Yes 5.9 was recorded for the rs but ford have had an overboost problem which would give the extra performance, also a ctr doing 14.4 to 100 i would be surprised best ive seen is 16.2. No torque compared with the Rs 144 Vs 229
We got a cup and have never looked back i even use it more than the scooby, so much fun and very quick, every car has its good and bad points who cares.
The cup defo has fbw throttle, not sure i like it and the clutch is a pain in the arse. It seems to have two biting points just when you think your going you let the clutch out a bit more and it bites even harder. With the throttle you dont seem to have as much control when holding on the...
Wife drives clio cup she used to drive like a granny but the gear up light is always on shes mental now. Although she has only had it three weeks and managed to scuff both front wheels
http://www.tintr.co.ukwww.tintr.co.uk based in nottingham not as far as you would think £150 all in lifetime guarantee, he did my scooby very pleased.

Nice car m8 black wheels make it look mean no harm done we all get a bit protective when some one is having a go at our pride and joys. At the end of the day no matter how fast mine or yours is there will be someone who can kick our a**e
All turbo cars have dump valves, standard dump valves recirculate air back into the inlet where as atmospheric dump valves dump it into the air hence the whoosh sound on lift off. Not a real performance gain just sounds good if you like that sort of thing.
Sorry m8 was nt pluging at been a gay car what so ever the elise is a fine car it wasnt me driving the P1 either i drive an sti with alot more power than a p1. Got to admit mate imprezas are not the best handling standard but as mine has leda coilovers its a big step up from standard. Ill have...
Yeah griff one rule for us and another for you, no only joking guys speed should be done on a track and i agree with mrdemon that the elise probably does have the upper hand on a track but on uk roads maybe not. Not that i speed of course.
Mr demon i take your point about the track but lets face it how often do you go on a track compared to normal roads. 0-60 does matter as does 0-100 by the time time youve wound up your elise i have left the lights and hit the next roundabout. Had a escort cosworth and an evo which i thought were...
Check out http://www.warrender.co.ukwww.warrender.co.uk then on the navigation bar go to cool stuff then test drive and click the article on 0-100. Its about the 172 giving the V6 a run for its money and nearly beating it. All figures i have seen for the V6 have been above 6s. Manufacturers...
Yeah know what your saying m8 the wife wanted the cup because of the colour and the wheels and to be different. Visually i dont think there is much difference in the cup and 172 sport but for me the cup has the edge maybe its the colour
Clio V6 s look fantastic was looking at one last week at a dealer in huddersfield they are so fat its one mean clio but as with any car, new models always affect the old ones p****s you off. No doubt reno have a new V6 to take the place of the new one out this year
I dont know look at the figures for a cup and impreza wrx and there isnt much in it of course mine isnt standard so no your correct the impreza is in a different league. As for sacrificing luxuries for speed and handling i havnt missed air con xenon half leather and so on, the other thing is how...
No its EcuTek new injectors, turbo and so on. Have to agree rob vx very nice car but with all that extra power through the back wheels whats it gonna be like in the wet, we do live in britain. Four wheel drive no slip just grip no matter what conditions
Hey gregmcn why dont you chuck it on the rollers and see if everyone is correct about the claimed power figure. I am no expert but after reading benr s posts im sure he knows what he is talking about. So it would be nice to see what you have got for £1200.
According to the cup brochure the cup is 3mm lower wider track because of a different offset but no mention of stiffer springs. It also quotes 0-400 m in 14.9. Its a quick car but compared to my scooby its not too exciting, but then again i bought it for the wife who doesnt care as long as it...
