Yeh all the wheel nuts are tight and so is the hub nut.

I had a leak from the same place, the heat shield rubs of the power steering pipe. Its a bit of a ball ache to change. It goes from the rack (drivers side of car) all the way round the engine bay under the battery , along the frot of car to the pump. Iv got 2 spare power steering steering pipes...

mines is leaking too, where the heat shield has been rubbing off it, gona take it off tomoro and take it to pirtex or hydrasun to get them to fix it or make me a new one

i was getting exhaust fumes in my car, when i went to investigate why, i noticed one of the downpipe bolts was whooring loose, jobs all done now tho thanks to D1CKY's help

Im going to try undoing the exhaust manifold and try push the downpipes down and along abit towards the back of car, see if that makes it easier, wish me luck lol

I had it up on proper ramps and theres hardly any access to the bolts, even when i took away the heat shield.

Anyone ever changed the exhaust kit, from downpipe to the cat, had a look at doing it today as one of my springs have broke, but looks really hard to get too. Anyone got any tips on how to change this?

hi everyone, just changed air filter and pollen filter then spark plugs, but when i took 2 of the spark plugs out they were covered in oil, the car isnt using any oil, anyone know why they would have oil on them?, the other 2 spark plugs were fine

Hi everyone, anyone had problems with the steering after fitting coilovers, i fitted ones last night to my 172 and now the car is pulling to the right, would this be todo with the camber or would wheels have to get re aligned, the coilovers came of my mates 172 and he had no problem with them...

was gona order some from ebay, but thought there might of been a shop somewhere in manchetser that would sell them

hi people, im going to germany to work and taking the 172 with me, as the germs drive on the other side my headlights are going to be blinding them, i know i can get stick on things to change the direction of the beam but dont want to put them on, my old bmw i could change the direction on top...

my gearbox is leaking oil and iv noticed people speaking about these 2 piece seals that can be fitted without taking the gearbox off but no one said where to get the seal from, any one know?

i got told, 0w40 and 10w40 would be fine to use

hi everyone, im new to this forum, iv not long had my clio 172 and i decided to change the engine oil today, i put 0w40 mobil fully synthetic and now iv got a whining noise, anyone got any ideas on what this could be?
