How restrictive is the standard centre section on a williams?Having k-tec manifold and dcat fitted l8ter this month,But will have standard exhaust with magnex backbox after dcat,How much will this cancel out the power gain from manifold or wont it be a problem?

Ive got a pipercross(foam) on my williams and my m8s got a KN(cotton/mesh type) on his valver.Mines quite a bit louder and whistles sometimes.Power-none gained but none lost!
